The 3rd Annual Rocky Patel Cigar Yacht Cruise continues to grow in popularity and in amenities for it’s supporters (guests); organizers continue to add value to the annual – largely charity event.
Cigar & Spirits Magazine is the events signature supporter and sponsor. Lincoln Salazar and Brand Ambassador – Delicia Silva – the “Cigar Vixen”, will be on hand. Complimentary copies of the latest edition of Cigar & Spirits Magazine, will also be made available to all attendees.
Havana Cigar Lounge in Apple Valley, California – a major event supporter and an exclusive ticket outlet, will be hosting a ROCKY PATEL CIGAR EVENT – with discounted tickets – on Friday, July 29, 2016 @ 7 p.m., with Rocky Patel Premium Cigars Rep – Ron Wagner.
FEATURED CIGARS
This year, as opposed to the previous 2 years, the event will feature five (5) cigars instead of three (3) cigars – all TORO SIZED – and this years event will include the rare and coveted ROCKY PATEL 50TH ANNIVERSARY Cigar, made to commemorate Rocky’s recent 50th birthday (the 20th Anniversary was made to commemorate the brands 20th year in existence).
In addition to this fine, 90+ rated vitola, this years event will feature the insanely popular and well respected TABAQUERO by Rocky Patel Master Roller – Hamlet Paredes, formerly of Partagas Habanos S.A..
If you’re not familiar with this stick, or the man behind it, it’s a great American story that shows the true character and compassion of Rocky Patel.
HAMLET PAREDES
In short, Rocky Patel, along with Robert Fox and Robert Ayala, as told in an an interview with CIGAR.COM, Hamlet, his wife and young children, entered the United States safely from Canada – with the help and coordination of Rocky and these gentleman – and now resides in Naples, Florida – set up to live by Rocky himself.
I met Hamlet at the Rocky Patel offices in February of 2015 – shortly after his arrival to the States and have interviewed him since; saddened to know that his two (2) older boys are still stuck in Cuba. Hamlet, a soft spoken, respectful gentleman and huge Yasiel Puig and Dodgers fan, is a the up and coming star of the Cigar world and his “Tabaquero” debut was one of 99 different blends. Hamlet settled on the very first blend they had made and the cigar has been receiving rave reviews ever since.
At the special request of our biggest event supporter (he purchases nearly 20% of the tickets every year), the 90+ rated DECADE CAMEROON will again be featured.
A personal favorite of Rocky’s and one he’s sure to recommend at his events, is the SUN GROWN MADURO – a hard to find gem of epic quality and flavor. This cigar will be featured at the event as well.
The 94 Rated ROYALE is one of the crown jewels of the Rocky Patel Premium Cigar brand portfolio; we’re proud to have it in the Toro-size this year, after featuring it in 2014 before it was widely available.

This years event will feature two known (2) Dee Jays this time: DJ ‘C ‘ (Cesar Hernandez) and DJ Farjeat (George Farjeat of the DUB SHOWS fame).
